Hannah Brencher Thinks We Should Write Love Letters To Strangers...

Hannah Brencher's family always wrote letters to each other, yes letters, with a pen, on paper, and using stamps, and envelopes, posted them, yes, to each other.
And these letters would arrive at the delighted recipients mail box.
Hannah started writing letters as a kind of therapy when at university. She'd write love letters and leave them for strangers to find.
Then, in the course of a year she wrote and mailed out over 400 hand penned letters.
Her random acts of love and kindness soon turned into a global initiative.
This lovely lady who also writes a blog. She believes in the power of the pen on paper and has started The World Needs More Love Letters which simply encourages strangers to exchange love letters.
I found Hannah on TED. You can too...

  4. A woman after my own heart said the postal services of the world. Letters have a unique way of conveying thought, they are considered, very private, and a great way to order your mind in a strange sort of way. I guess in today's world they could be called therapy.
